The Lab Services – Service Request Tool course introduces users to the new CGIAR Breeding Resources Service Request Portal, a centralized system through which breeding programs and partners can request, track, and manage laboratory service support. The training covers how to submit service requests (such as genotyping analysis, nutritional/elemental analysis, and other operational lab services), how the portal assigns request numbers, how to navigate service categories, and how to monitor status updates. It also teaches guidelines for access management, user responsibilities, and how to use the system efficiently to reduce errors, delays, and administrative overhead.
